I posted my workplace another day.

How to raise your goldfish
現在、らんちゅうを２匹飼っています。
１匹は３年半、もう１匹は２年程になります。
金魚はとても飼いやすく、少しのことに注意すれば何年も一緒に過ごす事ができます。
読んだ本によると１０年以上生きるそうです。
ここで、少し飼い方の説明を簡単にしようと思います！

I have 2 goldfish (the type is ranchu).
One is about 3 years and 6 month, another one is about 2 years.
It is very easy to raise goldfish and if you care for them a little, you can stay with them for many years.
According to a book that I read, they can live over 10 years.
I'll do simple explanation about 'how to raise a goldfish'.
1. 金魚を買ってきたら
金魚の入った袋を水槽の水に浮かべます。こうすることで新しい金魚を水槽の水温に慣れさせることができます。
３時間くらいは置いています。

Put package with goldfish on water of you tank. It makes new fish getting use to temperature of water in your tank.
I take 3 hours for it.
2. 金魚を水槽に入れる
金魚を水槽に入れる場合は金魚だけを入れます。お店の水には病原菌が入っているかもしれないので入れません。

3. 水槽に入れる金魚の数
かわいい金魚を観るとついつい沢山入れたくなりますが、沢山入れすぎないように注意が必要です。
水がすぐに汚れてしまって、水換えの回数が増えて金魚に負担がかかってしまいます。
60cm水槽で３匹とわたしの持っている本には書いてあります。
わたしは45cm水槽に2匹飼っています。

3. Quantity of goldfish for your tank
Don't put too many goldfish into your tank. Too many goldfish makes water durty soon so you should change water many times. It is bad for goldfish.
2 goldfish is for width of 60 cm tank.
My tank is 45cm and I have 2 goldfish.
4. 水換え
水換えは一度に３分の１くらい行います。水質の変化は金魚に負担がかかるからです。
水の底のゴミを吸い取るイメージで掃除します。
水道の水は太陽の光か薬剤でカルキ抜きします。

Suck up dust at the bottom of your tank.
Tap water has chalk so sun light or chemical thing takes away it.
5. 道具
金魚を飼うのに必要な物は、水槽、フィルター、エアポンプ、砂利、水温計、夏用扇風機があれば大丈夫です。
病気になった金魚を隔離して治療する為にエアポンプと水温計はもう一つずつあった方がいいです。

It had better that you have anoter air pomp and thermometer for treating sick fish that is separated from another fish.

最後のこれは重要です！

水の中は意外と食べるものがあるそうです。
冬場は10度以下になった場合、えさやりは止めます。
冬の間３ヶ月はほとんどえさやりしませんでした。

Goldfish often has indigestion.
When it is under 10 degrees, don't give them any food.
I had not given them food for about 3 months last winter.

bicycle again
前回の投稿ではillustration Fridayの為にその週のテーマである自転車を描きました。
そのとき、何か不満足感がありました。
前回はケント紙に描きましたが、今回はコットン紙に描きました。

This is my illustration Friday and I said about Japan Quake.
2009年に出席した結婚式のテーブルに飾られていたアイビー。
家に持ち帰って水にさしておいたら根が出てきました。
そのまま水栽培しています。
アイビーはとても強いです。
話は変わりますが、震災から10日ほど経ちました。
被災地のことはなんと言っていいか言葉にならないです。
ささやかながらの募金と節電、あとは元気に日常生活する。
なかなか集中できていないですが。
それと、今回世界中の人が助けてくれて感動しました。
見習いたいと思いました。
ベネズエラのイラストレータ、アリシアさんは
彼女の絵の３月末までの売上を寄付してくださるそうです。
お気持ちに感謝したいです。
かわいくて心温まる絵です。

This ivy put on a table at a wedding party in 2009.
I brought it to my room and put it in water.
Then the root came up.
This painting is states of the growing.
Ivy is a very strong plant.
By the way, It has been for about 10 days after Japan Earthquake.
I have no word for Tohoku people.
I do little things what I can (donation, saving electric power and live my life).
It is still hard a little bit to concentrate at usual life.
Following is my twitter friend Alicia's charity.

My Pen Pal
ポピーは好きな花です。
大きくて大胆な花びら。
くねくねした面白い茎。
蕾はちょっとグロテスクです。
この絵をペンパルに送ります。
私が勝手にペンパルと言っているのですが、福岡に住んでいる夫のおばあちゃんです。
まだ実際にお会いしたことはないのですが、たまに絵葉書を送ってくださいます。
絵を描くのがお好きなようです。

Poppy is one of my favorite flowers.
Big gougous petals, winding stems and little grotesque buds are beautiful and interesting.
I'm going to send this picture to my pen pal(I secretly call her "my pen pal").
She is my husband's grandmother who lives in Fukuoka(far away from Tokyo).
I haven't met her yet.
Sometimes, she send a postcard with her picture.
She seems to like painting.

My First Reason for Learning English
これは、カリフォルニアに住むいとこが送ってくれたカードです。
一緒に子供たちの写真を入れてくれていたのでカードに貼りました。
英語を勉強したいと思った最初のきっかけはこの子供たちです。
新婚旅行でカリフォルニアに行った時に１５年ぶりくらいにいとこに会いました。
その時、彼女のご主人にはとても親切にしてもらいました。
残念だったのが、わたしが英語をしゃべれないのでご主人や子供たちとほとんど話しができなかったということです。
彼らと話したい！というのが最初のきっかけです。

This is a greeting card that my cousin,lives in California, sent me.
Her children's photos were with it. I put them on the card.
My first reason to learn English is them.
I met my cousin for the first time in about 15 years when we visit to California on our honeymoon.
At that time, her husband was very kind for us.
I didn't speak English well. I couldn't talk with them.
I was very desappointed.
To be able to talk with them is my first reason to lean English.

ヤンバルクイナ Gallirallus okinawae
Caruta展の絵札のために描いたヤンバルクイナです。
なぜヤンバルクイナを描いたのか。
寒いときに描いていたので、暖かい沖縄が恋しくなった。
美しいものが描きたかった。
自然は美しい！緑大好き。
母の故郷であるヤンバルになんとなく思いがある。
今回は丁寧に描くことと、色に気を遣って描いてみました。

This bird is "Yanbaru Kuina".
The bird lives only in northern Okinawa prifecture in Japan.
(People in Okinawa calls that area "Yanbaru")
I painted this for our group exhibit.
Why I painted this bird? Hmm..
I was craving warm weather(Okinawa is located most southern in Japan)
I wanted to paint something beautiful.
I love nature.
My mother was born and grew up in Yanbaru. So I have something I feel for there.
When I painted this, I took care for colors and painting detail carefuly.
I painted this with this video.
Have you heard of Okinawa?
That is nice place.
