Caruta展の絵札のために描いたヤンバルクイナです。
なぜヤンバルクイナを描いたのか。
寒いときに描いていたので、暖かい沖縄が恋しくなった。
美しいものが描きたかった。
自然は美しい！緑大好き。
母の故郷であるヤンバルになんとなく思いがある。
今回は丁寧に描くことと、色に気を遣って描いてみました。

This bird is "Yanbaru Kuina".
The bird lives only in northern Okinawa prifecture in Japan.
(People in Okinawa calls that area "Yanbaru")
I painted this for our group exhibit.
Why I painted this bird? Hmm..
I was craving warm weather(Okinawa is located most southern in Japan)
I wanted to paint something beautiful.
I love nature.
My mother was born and grew up in Yanbaru. So I have something I feel for there.
When I painted this, I took care for colors and painting detail carefuly.
